THANKSGIVING DAY

      Thanksgiving Day is a national day celebrated in Canada (second Monday of October) and the United States (fourth Thursday of November). This day treat about giving thanks of the preceding year and the hasrvest. 

       
       Thanksgiving Day started in the year 1623. After the harvest crops were gathered in November 1623, Governor William Bradford told:
"All ye Pilgrims with your wives and little ones, do gather at the Meeting House, on the hill… there to listen to the pastor, and render Thanksgiving to the Almighty God for all His blessings."
       
       This is the origin of this day. In the last years, the EE.UU congress proclaimed the Thanksgiving Day and the 1^st November it was officially declared like a national day. Also, in 1795, George Washington declared it like the national Thanksgiving Day. In 1863, Abraham Lincoln also proclaimed this national day.
Like this, the Thanksgiving Day, Americans give thanks to God for his blessings and good things during the year. 
 

THE PURPOSE OF EDUCATION

    

      Currently, the educational system is declining more and more. Teachers have to give a good education and they have to make that students enjoy that they are studying and also, student should be interested about the subject or the lesson. We live in a world where we are ingenuous, because we believe that we are learning new things, but people only memorize things and then, these things are forgiven. The educational system should improve a lot of aspects if we want to be educated persons and have a good future.
     
       Chomsky tells that there are two types of education: the traditional, which is based on investigating, creating and finding important facts of the past.  Its purpose is obtaining something new and interesting. In adittion, the traditional education want to create persons that they learn with their own forms. The other kind is the indoctrination. It want to find more control of the education. This method makes that teenagers are conformists.
     
       The technology in the education also is important, because it has introduced an enormous change in society. Chomsky tells technology is neutral, due to the Internet is useful if we know that we are finding. We have to find the important thing and we should have a previous idea before find something. Chomsky relates the progress is worse today than past times.
   
       The cost or investment of the technology also is relevant. The government should invest more in education, due to it is very important and increases the society capital. The assestment is relevant. Teachers evaluate students for his marks and it is not correct, because doing and exam only decides if the student has studied and memorized, but not his capacity. Exams would be useful if students learnt. 

      Education should be how Chomsky tells, so it would be more useful, because students would investigate, find and the most important: learn. We need fewer people formed teoretically and more teachers with clear ideas that make children have interest about they are studying, due to the life consists in learning and enjoying that we learn.

IS ADVERTISING DISHONEST?

 

       Many people believe that adverts are true, but not. This is false, because experts on advertising use many marketing strategies and techniques to increase the television audiences and have more sales.

To have a huge influence, they put songs in this adverts with catchy jingles for people remember this. Furthermore, adverts contain powerful images with special effects and powerful slogans to make an impact in people that see it. In addition, TV adverts have a misleading appearance due to they have striking images to cause surprise. 

     

      Some of marketing strategies to promote a product are, for instance, that top footballers promote the product. Like this, people will see that a famous have this product and people will buy it. In many adverts, Cristiano Ronaldo has advertised a product. This type of strategies make the adverts have a visual and attractive impact in people, because a wonderful boy attract the attention of people.

Hand cream adverts are promoted by pretty and young girls. In many adverts, they are without clothes to be more sensual. Now, there are adverts of bras in which appear pretty girls with underwear to have more success.

    

       To summarize, say that advertisements don’t are real, because they don’t tell the truth. They tell the truth in a part of the advert, but not in all it. All the adverts are perfect studied to be truly successful. Ad mans have their own strategies having the right ingredients to sell the product and make an impact in the society. 

SPACE DEBRIS

INTRODUCTION
Space debris are very dangerous for the world and the space. They can cause physical damages, such as when space debris fall in the Earth, they destroy things like cars and houses,so people feel horror.  Furthermore, they can be contaminating for people that live where the object falls. They also have beneficts like the spacial objects that fall in the Eath can be valubles in the future.
Althought space debris can be good, there are certain risks due to they can cause a lot of damages in the Earth.

CONCLUSON
The fact that space debris are very dangerous makes that people feel scary and disconcerted with spacial objects, because they cause physical damages and they are polluting for the Earth. They have many disadvantages, but also, they are goods.

Your introduction is very good, because it achieves all the requisites to be a good introduction: it is formed by seven sentences, so it is correct because an introduction have always five to ten sentances. I think you hace introduced the topic clearly due to it attract the readers. Then, you have written sentences of information about the topic. In my opinon, you should have written more sentences to explain the topic, because it's too short. Finally, you have written  a good thesis statement.
The conclusion also is good because you have summarized that you have written in the introduction.

SPORTS

      One sport that I enjoy watching in TV is football, because I love this. I don’t see a football match yet, because I have to go to Madrid and it’s too expensive. Moreover, I enjoy practising this sport. When I was young, I played football with my cousins and my brother in the street and it was so funny. Also, I like playing table football with my friends in the bar. 

Last winter, I went to Pirineos and I practised ski in the snow. I loved this experience, because I had never practised this sport. If I could, I would practice again.

Furthermore, when I had ten years, I practised ice skating with my friend. I really liked this. I love all sports associated with the snow.

       

 

       All sports have a main advantage: they helping you to be in shape and improve your physique, agility and your strength. The sport increases the muscles and boosts the bones. In addition, it reduces the stress and many diseases, like the cholesterol.

However, one drawback of extreme sports is they are dangerous. Also, there are a lot of disadvantages of sport in general. If you don’t practise the sport suitably, you’ll suffer damages and muscle contractions. Moreover, you can be sport addicted.

      

       To sum up, sport is very good for all people, because it improves our physical body and our mind. It reduces the anxiety and stress. We have to do exercise one day a week.

Remember, sport is the only thing that you do for yourself and not for others.

    B)They help to dislexic childrens to read well.
    C)With video games, childrens learn to find solutions and resolve problems that are in the game.
V. Playing video games are good in many times, due to you can learn new things, but it's bad because if you play many hours, you'll develop mental and physical problems, such as aggressiveness and apilepsia.

IF I WERE RICH...

       If I won the lottery, I would do a lot of things. First, if my family had tight money, I would give them some money. Second, I would donate money to charities in the third world and in my country, because it is a social responsibility and a moral action. Also, If I were rich, I wouldn’t waste money on unnecessary things. I would share it with the most needy and I’d save money for the future of my sons. It’s really that I would give me some cravings, like a new car, a cruise, a new house... But it’s normal when you win the lottery.

       Winning the lottery has many advantages: when you win a lot of money, you can buy new and expensive things and you’ll always have necessary things, like food and clothes. If you win the lottery, you’ll have a good status and an instant success. You’ll never have tight money. Also, you will travel around the world and visit places that people with a normal salary can’t visit.

      Winning the lottery has many advantages, but also, it has more disadvantages. There are more possibilities that robbers steal you, because they know that you have much money. If I won the lottery, I would have many friends only interested in my money and people would envious of my fame and fortune. If I won the lottery, I would unable to trust anybody. Police will suspicious of me because I would have suddenly a lot of money.

      In conclusion, winning the lottery doesn’t resolve our problems because money in less important than other things like healthy, family or friends. All the childrens think that having a lot of money and being millionaire is the best, but it’s not true, because money doesn’t make happiness.
